Held in Cremona, Italy, this year’s edition of the IRHA-IRHBA Futurity showcased top international reining competition as the Western discipline continues to grow in Europe. When the sport began to make its way across the Atlantic four decades ago, the European enthusiasts were not only learning from Americans – there were two Australian trainers who also greatly influenced reining’s European development.
From thrilling finals to rising young stars and a community spirit that shone, the 2025 Willinga at Juandah Plains showcased campdrafting at its finest.
With over $950,000 in prize money on offer, including the prestigious Futurity Champion title, the event draws top riders, breeders, and spectators from across the country and overseas.
