World Young Horse Champion debuts at Grand Prix with success

The 2021 world champion seven-year-old dressage horse, Jovian, has debuted at Grand Prix level with huge success – winning a national level test in Aarhus, Denmark, on 83.7%.

“I’m over the moon – I actually got goosebumps as I rode the first centreline as I felt, he was 110% with me. It’s such an amazing feeling when you have developed a horse yourself, achieving 83.7% in his first ever GP,” said rider Andreas Helgstrand following the test.

Jovian (Apache x Tango) was bred by Family Ten Bosch in the Netherlands, and is currently owned by Helgstrand Dressage. Last year, the pair won the 7YO division at the World Breeding Championships for Young Dressage Horses.
