If the 1986 Cox Plate was memorable for the battle between Bonecrusher and Our Waverly Star, who could forget the amazing effort of the mighty Kingston Town, in winning three Cox Plates on end.
Young Australian dressage riders are making increasingly common appearances in the FEI Dressage World Rankings, with the latest update revealing 30 Aussie riders in the top 100 across the Under 25, Young Rider, Junior, Pony and Children’s categories.
From 4-6 April, National Capital Horse Trials Association (NCHTA) held their second international horse trials in the space of seven months – and what a well-received event it was. The Asset Construction Hire Canberra International Horse Trials saw many riders on the hunt for qualification scores ahead of Adelaide Equestrian Festival (1-4 May), leading to big classes and impressive results.
