The Grand Prix showjumping took place this afternoon at the Boneo Classic – although quite a bit earlier that originally planned due to a modified hot weather schedule. The class drew big numbers and saw 12 combinations jump clear in the first round, progressing through the jump off.
It was then Steven Hill and Yalambi’s Bellini Star who produced the quickest clear jump off round to win the main event. Second went to Brook Dobbin and Carrado MVNZ, while third went to Airlie Robinson and Mt Robinsons Qitana Z. Kristy Bruhn riding Jack and Adam Johnston on Up were two other combinations to achieve a double clear. Paul Brent and Cavalli Park Aliyah were the fastest on course, but a costly rail saw them finish in sixth place.
