The final classes at the FEI/WBFSH World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses are now complete, with Simone Pearce achieving another outstanding result – this time in the 7-year-old Final.

Riding Gestüt Sprehe’s Quando Unico, Simone finished in fourth place on a score of 82.450% against the very best young dressage horses in the world. They scored 9 for trot, 9.7 for walk, 9.2 for canter and 9.4 for perspective.

Speaking via social media following the competition, Simone said:

“Quando was fantastic today in the final of the World Championships. Unfortunately I didn’t prepare him at all well for the first change and I destroyed the mark for submission leaving us in fourth place just out of the medals. However, everything else was really, really great and I really couldn’t have asked any more of this special young horse.

“I’m really happy with how far we have come together in his training; I think he is in general so happy and harmonious in his work and I’m very proud to be able to show that in the test.”

Simone also finished sixth in the 6-year-old Final with Dancier Gold, scoring 84.4%. An amazing achievement to have two top ten finishes at the World Championships; congratulations Simone!
