Over four action-packed days, the Tamworth World Cup Show brings together the very best of Australian show jumping talent. Held across three world-class arenas, the event will feature a World Cup Qualifier class scheduled for 7:00 pm on Saturday, 24th August, in the renowned AELEC Indoor Arena.

With over 220 competitors, including Australia’s elite riders, leading juniors, and emerging grassroots riders, the event is a true celebration of equestrian sport. Among those competing are seasoned champions like Samuel Overton, who recently claimed victory in the GDP Classic, and Mattea Davidson, fresh off her World Cup Qualifier win at Waratah last weekend.

The Manuel Equine Transport 1.40m Open Art 274.2 (Two Phase Special) was a highlight of the day, with Samuel Overton and Oaks Cassanova claiming the top spot. Overton, who has already made a name for himself on both national and international stages, delivered a strong round with a jump-off time of 34.730 seconds. Following closely was Clem Smith on Oaks Conjuror, clocking in at 36.360 seconds. Merrick Ubank and Vakarra Checkasinni rounded out the top three, while LT Holst Freda with Julie Davey and KPH Cavatina with James Mooney completed the top five.

KSM Equine Shots 1.20m Art 274.2 (Two Phase Special)

In the KSM Equine Shots 1.20m Art 274.2 (Two Phase Special), William Wood and Powerhouse Park Ego Roc emerged victorious with a jump-off time of 32.430 seconds. Merrick Ubank, showing consistency, took second place on Yalambis Kandy Ripple with a time of 32.520 seconds. Ella Hayward on Edena DP secured third, followed by Chloe Hughes on Deedle and Jess Brown on Oaks Cryptic.

Tamworth Region Bronze Tour 1st Qualifier 1.20m Art 274.2 (Super Phase)

Madeline Sinderberry and Molinda JB led the class in the Tamworth Region Bronze Tour 1st Qualifier with a jump-off time of 32.820 seconds. Clem Smith took second place on Where’s Cameron with a time of 33.310 seconds, while Jessica Stalling on Kanntina placed third. Caitlin Bolger with Callista RL and Coco Miles on Emcee Tijuana completed the top five.

Holsteiner Verband Aus Silver Tour 1st Qualifier 1.30 – 1.35m Art 274.2 (Two Phase Special)

Clem Smith continued to shine in the Holsteiner Verband Aus Silver Tour 1st Qualifier, taking first place on Quantico 12 with a clear round in 33.000 seconds. Clem was quick to praise the event, sharing “(this is) our favourite show, it is well organised and we love coming.”

Samuel Overton and Cha Cha Blue GHP followed in second with a time of 35.140 seconds. Luke Dee and Gangster WW claimed third place, while Billy Raymont on Blue Balou PS and Gemma Creighton on Alan 111 Z rounded out the top five.

TRH Equine Vets 1.30 – 1.35m Art 274.2 (Two Phase Special)

The TRH Equine Vets 1.30 – 1.35m Art 274.2 event saw Robert Goodwin and Oaks Costarica secure first place with a time of 37.100 seconds despite an early four-fault round. Jess Brown took both second and third places on Equus Indemand and Oaks Cryptic respectively. Sienna Bellis on Platinum Ego Z and William Mathew on KPH Maddison rounded out the top five.
