From 18-21 January, Boneo Park will host the 2018 Ellanbrae Park Australian Youth Dressage Championships (AYDC).

A full range of EA tests will be offered, together with EA FEI tests for Ponies, Junior Riders, Young Riders and U25 Grand Prix. There will also be a Small Tour for riders 22-25.

Interschool Championships will be offered together with Preliminary and Novice classes at Participation level. Demonstrations, lots of social events, a great Trade Village and the famous Dog Races will also be offered. Classes are for riders aged from 8 years on ponies and 10 years on horses (EA tests).

This event is a perfect warm up for the Boneo Classic beginning the next week with the opportunity for riders to compete in FEI sanctioned classes.

As all FEI tests changed from 1 January, 2018, there will also be the opportunity for open Grand Prix combinations to compete in an official test — providing an opportunity to ride a new test at a big event prior to the Boneo Classic. The test will be held on Saturday the 20th and entries are strictly limited. A major change to the FEI tests will be the removal of all collective marks, with the exception of the Rider mark.

Keep up to date on the AYDC here.
