Lyndal Oatley & Elvive achieve second Olympic qualifying score in France

Australian dressage rider Lyndal Oatley has scored 71.457% for fifth place with Elvive in the Grand Prix at the CDI3* Compiègne, France.

In achieving a score over 69% at a CDI3*, the pair has ticked off their second qualifying score and are now up for possible Australian team selection for Tokyo. Lyndal already has her other horse, Eros, qualified for possible selection.

The CDI3* field at Compiègne included nearly 40 combinations, with some of the world’s leading names competing. Charlotte Fry and Everdale won the class on 76.674%, with Cathrine Dufour and Vamos Amigos in second on 73.435%. Third went to Nanna Skodborg Merrald and Blue Hors Zack on 73.174%, while fourth went to Hans Peter Minderhoud on Glock’s Zonik N.O.P. on 73.152%.

Hans Peter and Zonik were recently named on the Dutch long list for the Olympics.
