By Equestrian Life
US-based Australian show jumper Lauren Balcomb and NZ show jumper Sharn Wordley have welcomed son Arlo Andrew Wordley, announcing the arrival of their second child via social media.
“Arlo Andrew Wordley was born August 26th weighing 8lbs 12oz and 20 inches tall! So excited to be on our way home,” said Lauren. Lauren and Sharn already have a daughter, Poppy, who turned one earlier this year.
Lauren and her equine star Verdini d’Houtveld were in fine form and posted some very impressive results at international level earlier this year, with Lauren winning her first FEI Grand Prix at the World Equestrian Center, Ocala in June. When speaking to Equestrian Life in April, she said that her ultimate goal for ‘Dini’ is the Paris Olympics in 2024.
