The XXV Sunshine Tour 2019 is a prestigious showjumping series that has been running since 1994.

Located in Vejer de la Frontera, a hilltop town in the Cadiz province of Spain, tour spans 6 legs and is held at a fabulous facility that is up there with the best in the world. To give a perspective of size, some 1000 additional stables were built recently. The first leg of the event saw 600 horses compete, while the second leg more than doubled in size to 1400 horses.

This is a venue that really has to be seen to be believed!

Courtesy of Oxer Sport TV, Equestrian has picked up the series from leg two — and all action from leg three is coming your way tonight.

For those who have missed the previous results, the Grand Prix in leg one went to Great Britain’s Jake Saywell and Havinia van de Roshoeve. In leg two, it was Ireland’s Richard Howley aboard Chinook who took the honours in the main GP class.

The third leg, which premiers tonight on Equestrian Life’s Facebook page, has concluded and there is a winner in the Grand Prix (who tool home a cool €23,325 for first place alone). We won’t ruin the surprise — tune in at 8pm AEDT to catch all the action!
