By Equestrian Life
There were many amazing performances at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, but in the dressage arena one that caught the attention of many was the USA’s Sabine Schut-Kery and Sanceo.
The pair were seventh in the Grand Prix with 78.416%, third in the Special on 81.596%, and fifth in the Freestyle on 84.3%. Their amazing effort in the Special, where only Germans Isabell Werth and Jessica von Brewdow-Werndl finished ahead of them, helped team USA bring home the silver medal.
Tokyo was the first time the pair cracked 80%, and even their Grand Prix score of 78.416% was a personal best. Talk about peaking at the right time!
So who is Sabine Schut-Kery, and what’s the story behind Sanceo? Tune in from 6pm AEST tonight to watch Roger Fitzhardinge’s interview with the Olympic silver medallist!
This interview will be brought to you by Hygain, and can be viewed on Equestrian Life’s Live TV page and Facebook page.
