Third place for Melissa Cannon at Hickstead CPEDI

The I.C.E. Horseboxes All England Dressage Festival at Hickstead (7-12 May) is underway with the CPEDI para dressage classes wrapping up on Thursday.

Australia was represented by Melissa Cannon and Quentino 43 in the CPEDI3* Grade V tests, with the duo placing third on a score of 70.475% in the Freestyle with strong scores from all three judges.

The class was won by highly decorated British Paralympian Sophie Wells, who scored 75.5% with Don Cara M.

Earlier at Hickstead, Melissa and Quentino 43 scored 65.769% and 65.526% in the Grand Prix A and B tests respectively to place fifth on both occasions.

Fellow Aussie Jayden Brown contests the CDI3* Grand Prix on Friday with two horses:

WillingaPark Sky Diamond: 3.33pm local time, 12.33am Saturday AEST

WillingaPark Quincy B: 5.27pm local time, 2.27am Saturday AEST
