Teams announced for Oceania Championships at Adelaide Equestrian Festival

Equestrian Australia has confirmed the combinations set to represent the nation at the Oceania Championships, to be held during the Adelaide Equestrian Festival from 16-19 April.

With both Senior and Under 25 divisions offering a valuable opportunity for international team competition on home soil, the selected combinations reflect a mix of experienced campaigners and emerging talent.

The Senior squads have been split into two teams, each bringing together riders with proven form across Australia’s top events and will be contesting the CCI4*S.

Team A:

  • Sophia Hill and Tulara Baltango
  • Sam Jeffree and Wimborne Conjuror
  • Hannah Klep and Tulara Chicouve
  • Shenae Lowings and Bold Venture

Team B:

  • Andrew Barnett and Oscar Park Deluge
  • Andrew Cooper and Ocean Eight
  • Edward Darby and Dawn of the Day
  • Charlee Morton-Sharp and SV Supermaxi

The Under 25 division features a strong group of developing athletes highlighting the depth of Australia’s next generation who will be contesting the CCI*L.

U25 Riders:

  • Georgia Elias and Silverwoods Aussie Pride
  • Charlotte Lalak and Along Comes Lucy
  • Tahlia Purcell and Astro NZPH
  • La’Moza Velisha and Call Me Cooley.

The Oceania Championships remain an important fixture on the Australian equestrian calendar, providing riders with the chance to gain championship experience in a team environment while competing at one of the country’s premier events.

All eyes will now turn to Adelaide as these combinations prepare to take on New Zealand  for Oceania honours in April.
