Great Britain hold the team lead, however a PB dressage test from Andrew Hoy and Vassily de Lassos and an impressive Championship debut from Oliver Barrett and Sandhills Briar mean the Aussies are certainly in contention ahead of Saturday’s cross country phase.
The weather was hot and so too was the competition for the first day of dressage for the eventers at the FEI World Championships in Aachen. Three Australian combinations began the competition with strong scores, setting up an exciting few days ahead.
