Results: International events 1st – 5th May

Following his cross country round, Andrew Hoy shared his thoughts on the course and event, his love for Vassily de Lassos, and why he remains enthusiastic about the sport 20 years on from his team bronze medal at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen.

It was gold for Great Britain’s Charlotte Fry and Glamourdale, while Australia’s Simone Pearce and Will Marq made an impressive Grand Prix Freestyle debut on the world stage as a sold-out crowd enjoyed their Saturday evening dressage in Aachen.

Cross country day at the FEI World Championships was influential. Australian combinations Sophia Hill and Humble Glory proved they are world class as one of only six to go clear and under time, while Andrew Hoy and Vassily de Lassos retain a top ten position, and Great Britain maintains their team lead.
