Australian dressage rider Kate Kyros has won the CDI Under-25 Intermediate II class at CDI Olomouc in the Czech Republic with Intro K.
The 22-year-old and her 13-year-old KWPN stallion (Apache x Harmony’s Rousseau) scored 68.235% and placed first with all three international judges.
Olomouc marks Kate’s second CDI competition at CDI-U25 with Intro K, who debuted at the level at Tolbert, the Netherlands in April.
Kate is no stranger to the venue, having competing at CDI Olomouc in 2024, where she placed in all three CDI Young Rider tests with Intro K and won and placed in the CDI-U25 tests with her previous Grand Prix horse, Chemistry.
Second place in the CDI-U25 Inter II went to Austria’s Fiona Spranz and Santiago (65.882%), while third went to Ukrainian rider Diana Borovyk with Baby Royal (65.588%).
This edition of CDI Olomouc features a record number of riders and horses from 24 countries, with Australia also represented by Jemma Heran.
