Joining Glenara Park Stud’s two other imported European stallions – Euro Sport Dimero NN Z and Euro Sport Chacco di Villagana Z – Euro Sport Dominator Sterrebornehof Z will be adding another splash of colour to the Australian performance horse gene pool.
“To my knowledge, he is the only imported European black and white stallion by a CSI5* Grand Prix winner in Australia,” says Melissa. “It’s something exciting for Australian breeders.”
Euro Sport Dominator Sterrebornehof Z (2019 and 172cm) is a tall and elegant son of the phenomenal multiple CSI5* Grand Prix winning Dominator 2000 Z and is the first foal from the mare Perola Colorida (Camaro x Querlybet Hero), who has been used solely for breeding after showing her talent with an exceptional fifth placing in Belgian National Free Jumping Championship for Two-Year-Olds.
Perola Colorida descends from the same dam line as Glenara Park Stud’s fellow coloured European import, Dimero NN Z (Diamant de Semilly x Casper van Erpekom x Querlybet Hero), which is stacked with approved stallions and jumping stars – including well known CSI5* 1.65m performer, Kriskras DV.
Dominator Sterrebornehof Z was started under saddle as a four-year-old and progressed quickly in his training to jump clear at his first show in Europe before his journey Down Under. Although not a conventionally marked show jumper, he shows all the attributes to make a top performer and has impressed all who has seen and worked with him thus far.
Dominator Sterrebornehof Z offers a 50% chance of tobiano colouring and carries only black base coat genes (a/a, E/E – homozygous black). This stallion is AES licensed, ACE recognised, and is negative for WFFS. He is already the sire of some beautiful foals in Europe.
Landing in Australia on 2 September, he is available via chilled for this upcoming breeding season.
