The 2018 Caboolture World Cup Qualifier took place over the weekend as part of the Caboolture Horseland Festival of Showjumping and saw many of Australia’s top showjumpers in action.
It was Clint Beresford who ultimately dominated the class, winning with SI Donato and finishing second aboard Emmaville Jitterbug. Clint and SI Donato had one rail in the first round but then jumped clear in the second, while on Emmaville Jitterbug he jumped a clear first round and had one rail in the second. SI Donato was slightly quicker than Emmaville Jitterbug.
Third place went to Erin Buswell and Quero Quero, while fourth went to Aaron Hadlow and Vahnlinvader – both combinations finished the two round competition on four penalties, but were slower than Clint on his two horses.
