The British Olympian had secured an FEI Extra Starting Place with her 12-year-old Westfalian mare, Alive And Kicking (by All At Once x Furst Piccolo).

The duo contested two FEI Dressage World Cup qualifiers during the recent season, placing fifth in the freestyle with 79.230% at CDI-W London, and sixth in the freestyle with 79.955% at CDI-W Amsterdam.

The first FEI Extra Starting Place went to Yessin Rahmouni with Kind of Magic, however a second FEI Extra Starting Place became available to fill the empty slot left by Charlotte Fry as title defender – and this was allocated to Dujardin.

No reason has been given for the withdrawal, with Eurodressage reporting the British Equestrian Federation has said it supports and respects Dujardin’s decision – and has noted the withdrawal is not related to a warm-up video from CDI-W Amsterdam nor subsequent negative media coverage.

The 2026 FEI World Cup Final will now see 17 combinations compete at Fort Worth, Texas from 8-12 April. Australia will be represented by Serena Ireland and Royalty R.
