The Centennial Parklands Equestrian Centre (CPEC) is inviting experienced equine professionals and businesses to register their interest in delivering a range of services at one of Australia’s most established and unique equestrian facilities.
Located in the heart of Sydney, CPEC offers a rare opportunity to establish or grow a business within a thriving equestrian community that supports horse owners, riders, trainers and visitors year-round.
Expressions of Interest are now being sought from operators interested in providing:
- Riding schools
- Livery services
- Grooming and farrier services
- Stable maintenance and daily fodder supply

- Equine therapy and remedial services
- Saddlery services
- Equine product supply
- Horse leasing programs
- Riding instruction and coaching
- Other complementary equine services
Prospective operators are encouraged to register their interest ahead of the upcoming Request for Proposal process, expected to open in late September 2026.
A unique opportunity in a historic setting
Few equestrian facilities can match the heritage, scale and location of CPEC. Originally operated by the Royal Agricultural Society (RAS) as part of the historic Royal Easter Show site, the precinct became part of Centennial Parklands following the relocation of the RAS to Homebush Bay in 1997.
The centre officially opened to the public in 1998 after more than $10 million was invested in upgrades, new stables and heritage restoration. Today, CPEC blends historic charm with modern infrastructure, creating a premier destination for equestrian activities in the centre of Sydney.

CPEC currently can accommodate up to 197 horses and is home to a range of established equine businesses and services, including riding schools, veterinary care providers, equine therapy operators and livery services.

- Wash bay facilities
- Sand roll areas
- On-site float parking
- Access to the riding trails and amenities of Centennial Parklands.
