Boyd Exell has come out on top in the Prize of Fa. Horsch, Der Entsorger “Top Score” (CAIO4*) at CHIO Aachen, posting a score of 1900 to finish ahead of Dutch driver Bram Chardon on 1840.

Boyd’s equine team included Celviro, Checkmate, Hero and Ivor.

The Prize of Fa. Horsch, Der Entsorger is a Cones/Obstacles competition, similar to ‘Top Score’ events in show jumping where different elements are awarded points based on difficulty. Drivers may pick their own course with the aim of accumulating the highest points tally within a time limit.

Fellow Aussie Tor van den berg finished 16th on 1460.

Boyd and Tor are now preparing for the Marathon phase of the Nations Cup Driving on Saturday. The Aussie team is in second place and the Marathon begins from 10am CEST, 6pm AEST.
