AJTL teams announced ahead of 2021 season

By Equestrian Life

The Australian Jumping Teams League (AJTL) has announced its final team for the 2021 season, and the countdown is on to the first event.

Similar to the internationally renowned Global Champions League, the AJTL is like nothing ever seen in Australia.

An exciting element to the competition is that each team must have one rider under 25 years of age, to encourage exposure and training of future professional riders.

In the inaugural 2019 series, there were four legs, each with eye popping prize money on offer. Willinga Park were crowned the overall winners.

The 2021 season is going to be even bigger, with 11 teams now confirmed and 5 events scheduled. A total of 44 of Australia’s top horses and riders will battle it out for top honours!

The events are:

26 June – Caboolture World Cup
21 August – Waratah Teams
