Chris has been actively engaging with the equestrian community through his talks on the Brisbane Olympics, giving masterclasses and sharing inspiring after-dinner speeches. His commitment extends far beyond the sport, as he has also been a passionate advocate for Movember, using his platform to raise funds and awareness for men’s health initiatives close to his heart since returning home.

The timing of his return could not have been better, with the recent news of Toowoomba, Chris’ hometown, hosting the equestrian events at the 2032 Olympics, the next few years are certainly going to be exciting.

In the meantime Deo Futura, the Burton’s new Goulburn-based stud – as featured in a recent Equestrian Life issue, is pleased to announce that their highly sought-after stallions will be available to order later this year, marking a pivotal moment for the Australian equestrian industry. These exceptional stallions present a unique opportunity to elevate the quality of sport horses in Australia. They offer European bloodlines that were previously hard to acquire, helping to produce the next generation of 5* showjumpers and eventers. On a different side of the market, they will also seamlessly complement more thoroughbred types – ideal for mares transitioning from their racing careers.
