The entries have been finalised for the 2018 Burghley Horse Trials (30 August – 2 September), with six Aussie combinations on the list.
Australians named to start in the CCI4* event are Paul Tapner and Bonza King of Rouges, Chris Burton and Cooley Lands, Lucinda Green’s daughter Lissa Green and Hollyfield II, Bill Levett with both Improvise and Lassban Diamond Lift, and Warren Lamperd riding Silvia. With Chris and Bill set to start at WEG in Tryon (USA) in September with Cooley Lands and Lassban Diamond Lift, it’s unclear whether they will actually start at Burghley.
Nevertheless, there will be some Aussies to follow this year at the prestigious event and we can’t wait!
